Misty’s interest in creative writing began in first grade and continued through adulthood. She first sought publication as a freelance writer and was published fourteen times in the following international magazines:

One of Misty’s dreams since childhood was to write a book. She began to focus on this dream after her publications in worldwide magazines, and since 2014 she has written three books:

Misty’s first two books, Finally Spoken: Words of Hope, and In the Simplest Things are both inspirational books with stories from Misty’s life, prayers, poems, humor, and encouragement. Both are available at Amazon.com.
Misty’s third book, AJ’s Quest for the Trophy, is a fiction children’s chapter book and the first in her East Creek Music Club series, also available at Amazon.com. Its sequel, Delilah’s Dilemma, should be available in early 2025.
